Payday! The Full Moon! (Its pretty big in Pagan circles) Someone beats up Derek Day.. No, that may happen more than once a month.
Inventory at the Record Store day! Prescription medication renewal day at the clinic! Rex Manning day (Only at Empire Records). Peer evaluation day at the Lab! Pay all the Utility Bills for SJI day!. Communal Potluck dinner/fudge brownie , porn watching and boardgames + orgy day at SJI! (may happen more than once a month). I think that covers everything. Nope haven't forgotten anything too obvious.

Q's little mess is threatening to cause problems for the SJI group, just as the migraine/lust fever epidemic is cresting.
I'm suddenly more than ever curious just exactly what inspired Adrian to visit Rain at this crucial moment. It almost feels like we're right at Premature Rewards Syndrome stage of this chapter, but I could be jumping the gun.
Note, we know that everyone at that table has Adrian's cell number, Laura, might as well, but she's so panicked she's not even thinking of it. However, as I said, anyone at that table could have given it to her if she really needed to ask.

My impression of his duet with Erin was that Rain was somehow responsible for their... synergy. Adrian might have figured this out.
As far as the phone call thing goes, I'm gonna employ Occam's Razor and assume that Adrian just wasn't picking up.

My initial impression is that Rain heard and approved, and that Adrian's performance demonstrated that his own lack of confidence was unwarranted. Maybe he thinks that's a fluke and wants to take steps to ensure that he is worthy accompaniment for Erin's voice--but again, he had a scholarship to Juilliard. He can't have been terrible. And WHY did this inspiration hit him suddenly at THIS particular moment?
