I see no reason for them to go to Derek... none of the folks at the Infirmary have any knowledge of Derek's activities, so why would he come to mind when they're looking for a hypnotist?

Regarding your instruction to evil geniuses, release notes are useful for tracking changes between versions, but a user guide is much more important for learning how to use the damn thing.
