I really enjoyed this one, and it was great to see Siri back!

To be honest, some of the mind control theatre content I've found the hottest over the years (notably the "Truth About Hypnosis", and especially "Disoriented") have been largely just a single performer talking to the camera.  So I think there is a lot of potential to do things like this with performers who are home-bound at the moment.

Great job folks, and I'd love to see more. 

So I really liked this concept and the simplicity of the story that came with it.  I think the best part is how Siri became so eager to please and be reprogrammed that she started taking the initiative on little things, like adjusting the camera, peeling off her clothes, or moving the chair, even without being told.  Towards the end, if not before, she was so eager that she was practically begging to be enslaved and programmed, all with a smile on her face.  The whole thing kind of reminded me of Disoriented, just without the talking head sequences.

That said, I do have two criticisms.  The first is how compressed it was, taking place over exactly two sessions; part of what I really liked about Disoriented is how drawn out the story was and how you could see her slowly becoming a different person.  If applied to this video, that could've been handled with shorter "on-screen" sequences that came with text cards depicting which session it was that we were about to see (start with session 1, then 2, then jump to 5, and so forth).  By drawing out her enslavement, the story could've been much more convincing and engaging; as it stands, she just appears to be either a weakling or somebody who was alright with what was happening.  I know that most movies hand-wave the time it takes to break, erase, and rebuild someone's personality in the interest of time, but this felt like a golden opportunity not to do that.

My other problem is how the first session ended.  He'd just spent the first half of the movie making her want to be enslaved, only to make her forget all about it and leave no accommodations for her sudden nudity (you could see the confusion on her face) nor any suggestions for how she should dress and make herself up for the next session.  I know I said before that I liked her initiative, but the way on how the first half ended, he should've had to start her programming all over and her dress should've been closer to normal than hooker.  Basically, I was left unconvinced by that section.

I still enjoyed the show, again especially how she spent much of it smiling in anticipation of her fate.  If this is going to be a regular thing, I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of variety you can come up with or if it's just going to be more of this.  Take my criticisms as you will or don't take them at all; just have fun, stay healthy, and keep making great stuff.

Nice feedback there, dwcomics.  Some of it will probably work itself out as the crew and performers get used to this.  Doing more than two sessions would have added some more variety to this, but I'm guessing would also mean Siri would have to have some more outfits ready and change up her own hair/makeup to indicate the passage of time. Hopefully the performers would be up for this kind of thing while working remotely :D

On that subject, I'm still excited to see what you folks can do with this format.

It might be nice to see a new entry in "The Truth About Hypnosis", where the performer can explain to us that there is no way someone could take control of you during a webchat.

I keep thinking of 'Disoriented' as a favourite of this kind of format, with a single person talking to the camera. (It seems to have made an impression on dwcomics as well :D) It might be nice to follow up with that same therapist; maybe doing some online therapy sessions with the girlfriend of Jessica Ryan's Erica character.

If you wanted to directly address the current universal situation with social distancing/quarantine, it might be fun to have a hypnotist trying to manage their harem remotely. It could be a good opportunity for some of Daphne's trademark clever/funny writing.  If you didn't want to be so direct with current events, the hypnotist could be remote managing while on vacation or something, too.

Although it would probably defeat the point of doing these as low-budget remote sessions, I wonder if it would be possible to do harem segments while you're filming other single-performer sessions, and editing them into a whole once you have 5 or 6.  Of course, I don't know how the business works, and I imagine performers would have to be paid for each project. So if that pushes this out of the realm of a fun, budget release, that's totally understandable, but I thought it was worth suggesting.

Thanks crazydorian and nice harem idea.  Splicing together three to six actresses into a single massive video chat that includes reinforcement and webcaming would be something to see.  With the second of this series now released, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.  Personally, as long as we get enough variety to create different flavors of spice, I think we'll have a great time, despite the corona madness.

I wanted to pop back in and mention that 'Brooklyn Takes a Call' was great! Nice use of older footage of her, and she was great as ususal.

I just wanted to send a shout out for Henri as well.  I know in addition to directorial duties, he's usually the go-to actor if a male part isn't appearing on screen (like The Director here).  I've previously found his inductions solid, but sometimes his other dialogue can sound...unnatural or hurried.  With these Sessions videos coming out weekly, I'm guessing he's getting a lot more practice than normal and it shows. His conversational dialogue felt really natural in this one, and even the bits that seemed awkward were awkward in a way that felt natural for the conversation.

I hope that doesn't come off as a backhanded compliment for Henri. I just wanted to note it because I thought it was noticeable :)

Star is very sexy.  She's great at mantras and expression.  But for this setup it felt like she had the least to play off of.  I'm not sure if that's because it split the difference between visual and verbal induction where you could hear Henri's voice but not what he was saying, or if it was a different text and background transition variant or if it was because we had less of the base personality to compare to.  I guess I'm leaning more toward the auditions than the workouts, but both have been quite excellent.  This has been a top-notch series so far.

This might be as close to a full production as we get for awhile, but if situations like that can be replicated, there are a LOT of options for really sexy vids.  This is a keeper! ;D

I'm surprised and rather glad you were able to make this video, considering our current circumstances.  Though, and I know this is me being selfish, I have to ask if that idea I posted a few weeks back had anything to do with the making of this video or if it was just a natural progression made in the spirit of Hypnosis in the Workplace.  Good job.

I'm Guessing the Dr. Laurel sequel belongs in this thread.  It looks like a fantastic vid.  But this feels like an unfortunate timing for this particular release.  You're having Brooklyn return to the role just after you released and promoted what is probably the last footage you'll have of the actress who originated the role.  That feels like a bit of an unfair comparison for Brooklyn and for this new offshoot of the Dr. Laurel series.

So, yeah.  There is a bit of a problem.  Paisley is great and I hope she is interested in being in more vids going forward, especially when/if it becomes safer to return to a previous production parameters.  She's great.

Brooklyn is gorgeous.  She has a pleasant voice.  She has shown she's good with dialogue and has been good with affect in the past.  I'm guessing this one is a directorial choice.

In the very beginning and at the end of the first session loop she had normal speaking patterns.  The thing is, it seemed like for almost ALL of the inductions, she was on monotone even more than Paisley was, as if it were meant to be a nod to the fact that Dr. Laurel is controlled herself for all of this.  If controlling her is supposed to be the Easter egg at the end, why not have that be the very last set when Paisley is asleep/entranced at the very end and have the rest of the induction be soothing and seductive instead?  Seems like that was abandoned very quickly.

You are way over-thinking this. Really, the difference between an induction-voice and an entranced-voice is paper thin, and largely in the ear of the listener.

Okay.  I guess I like the illusion of Dr. Laurel in control better than the implication that she is always controlled.  And several of your performers could make that paper-thin distinction very well.  Ms. Lee and Ms. Rosen leap to mind.  This is why I felt the release schedule was a bit of a burn on this particular project.

But Paisley is a fantastic find.  If she's interested in doing more, please set that up.  Wow!!

Great to see more Brooklyn as Dr Laurel, and looking forward to checking out Paisley.

Purchased, but not watched yet. If this is supposed to be Paisley watching an induction video by Dr Laurel, it might be interesting to have other performers watching the same Dr Laurel feed and being induced.  Of course, I'd prefer more Brooklyn/Dr Laurel footage, but that could make for a fun side-by-side watch, and a cost effective way to re-use existing footage for sessions with other performers.

One thing I noticed from the preview and I remember thinking before: Brooklyn's gorgeous, of course, but her Boobs don't really sway much, and the recent Daphne Rosen video reminded me that her's really did (and probably influenced how Dr Laurel induced subjects).  For Brooklyn, it might be nice to see her change it up a bit. Play with her boobs more, oil them up and stroke them, lift one and then the other, pinch her nipples.  That sort of thing.

Just a thought though, and for all I know, the new video might be full of that.  Looking forward to watching later today, either way :D

Finally got a chance to watch the new Doctor Laurel release and, as expected, it was excellent.

Also, red lipstick over pink might be nice.

Have gone back over it--I'm excited for Paisley to be in more vids.  I can sort of see how Brooklyn split the difference and how my first critique might be an "ear of the beholder" thing, but I'm still a bit troubled by it.  Also, I'm more convinced than ever that release scheduling ensured I'd be more critical of this than otherwise.  I really like Brooklyn and seeing her return to this role is in most ways a treat--but comparing her to her predecessor in the role isn't advantageous for her or for the vid.  For a number of reasons.
