Justin remembers Nicole now, but not quite the same way Nicole remembers Justin...

Huh?  The cover makes it look like she's either an incognito gorgon or some sort of Pygmalion experiment.  It looks hot, and I'm glad we're getting back to this.  However, I confess that I'm stumped.

Must be some really good shit, man. She looks totally stoned.

New artist! It's Maxx, who did Travel Plans.

I like this issue much more than the first... shades of Drawing From Life!

And no disrespect to the original artist, but Nicole's a lot hotter than she was before.

Page 12 panel 2 ("Is there...") is exactly how I imagined her while I was writing it.

Pygmalion + Sliding Doors?  It's definitely interesting.

I'm liking very much the setting. I think I know where this is going and it feels as if it's going to be awesome.

And the art is gorgeous! Kudos to the artist!

Thanks a lot for this update.

Nice to see that this one is in the regular section now, instead of the one-time section.  I have to say, I wasn't entirely sure how it was going to play out, given how the first issue ended; but now it looks like we have a very workable story here.  But I have to ask: did you guys take any inspiration from the mcstories "Life-Imitating Art," because it looks like whatever this guy sculpts becomes reality, just like in that story.

Nope. I haven't even read it.

Daphne did a story along similar lines, involving paintings.

Sounds like plagiarism.  Better let the author know.

Considering both stories in question are from 2001, and the second credit's Daphne's as an inspiration in its forward, I'd say the matter is probably ok.

No, I meant that Daphne's plagiarizing herself, so you'd better let the author know...  Ah, it's not funny when you have to explain it.

The absurd rarely works on the Internet, but it's so much fun trying.
